There are so many activities to enjoy at Woodhouse, so we've grouped them together to help you select the activities that match your desired outcomes.
Many are free activities, included in your Day Activity Pass, accommodation or camping fee, others may require facilitation and therefore require pre-booking and attract an additional fee.

The following free activities are included in the Day Visit entry, as well as the camping and accommodation fees for guests staying on the property.
Challenge Hill - all ages, allow 60-90 minutes
Our famous outdoor obstacle course, testing physical fitness and mental agility. It's perfect for building personal resilience and promoting team building within groups.
Disc Golf - all ages, allow 45 minutes
Played much like traditional golf, with the the object being to complete the course with the fewest number of shots. However, rather than putting the ball into a hole, you throw a Frisbee into a net! Discs (and score cards) available for sale or loan from the office.
The Labyrinth - all ages, allow 10-25 minutes
Work your way through the giant split-level maze, with a fun fireman’s pole and 2 flights of stairs adjoining the 2.8m drop from top to bottom tier. 135m direct route from start to finish, or extend the experience to 537m by finding quizzes and riddles at each of the 17 dead ends.
Tube Slide - all ages, allow 20-90 minutes (runs on Saturday and Sundays only, facilitated option available during the week)
Think of a water-less water slide or a snow-free ski run where you slide down synthetic slopes in big rubber rings that turn, accelerate, go up in bends and stop on their own. It’s fast, furious and fabulously fun!
Orienteering - all ages, allow 45-90 minutes
There are seven orienteering courses at Woodhouse, professionally designed by the Wallarinaga Orienteers varying in length from 1.6 to 2.8 km. Laminated maps and equipment are available on loan at the office. Allow half to one hour, dependent on the course. Follow the map to find the posts around the property that spell the special answer.
Hiking - ages 10 up (facilitated option)
Woodhouse is the perfect basecamp in which to explore the beautiful Adelaide Hills area. With several walking trails of varying difficulty, there is something for everyone!
Photo Hunt - all ages
Using basic map reading and navigational skills, navigate your way around the property to match the photos with the correct checkpoints. Can be combined with Orienteering.
Other
Other sporting and recreation as well as BBQ, fire circles (fire ban permitting) and picnic facilities.
Laser Skirmish - ages 7 and up (pre-booking required, extra fee applies)
All the thrill and excitement of paintball without the pain - and the mess - of paint balls! Working as a team to achieve a common goal, it’s a great way to strengthen existing bonds or build new friendships.
Team Challenges - ages 10 and up (pre-booking required, extra fee applies)
A series of various challenges, designed to teach students the importance of working together to achieve a common goal.
Team Building - ages 10 and up (pre-booking required, extra fee applies)
A whole group activity designed to set the mood for the duration of the camp by creating a sense of belonging and commoradery among the students and teachers alike.
Challenge Hill - all ages
Our huge outdoor obstacle course is a test of physical fitness and mental agility perfect for building personal resilience and promoting team building within groups.
Team Challenge Extension: Split group into teams. Everyone carries a water balloon and works within the team to finish with their balloons in tact.
Team Challenge Extension:Pair up and complete the obstacle course tethered to a team mate.
Disc Golf - all ages
Based on the principle of golf but instead of hitting a ball into a hole in the ground, you throw a Frisbee into a net secured on a post. Discs are available on loan from the office.
Team Challenge Extension: Pair up with one person blind folded and the other directing where to throw.
Challenge Hill - all ages
An obstacle course designed to bring you together as a team and challenge your skill and bravery, you will find yourself stretched physically and mentally as you go around the course.
Bush Craft - ages 4-14 (pre-booking required, extra fee applies)
Participants learn the arts of the great outdoors, from fire building to camp cooking as well as how to pitch a tent in our natural bush setting!!
Laser Skirmish - all ages (pre-booking required, extra fee applies)
A great alternative to paintball that can be played by kids as young as eight, Laser Skirmish offers an experience that will not soon be forgotten. All the thrill and excitement of paintball without the pain, and the mess of paint.
S.A.F.E Archery - ages 4-9 (pre-booking required, extra fee applies)
A great way to get kids involved with archery as well as providing a fun activity that enhances eye-hand coordination, increases upper body strength, and helps to develop self-discipline. It's safe and fun for everyone!
Archery - ages 10 and up (pre-booking required, extra fee applies)
Archery is the sport, practice or skill of using a bow to propel arrows. Historically, archery has been used for hunting and combat. In modern times, it is mainly a competitive sport and recreational activity.
Archery Tag - ages 10 and up (pre-booking required, extra fee applies)
Archery Tag is played similar to dodgeball and paintball, with special bows and safe foam-tipped arrows. This exciting, action-packed game offers the ultimate family-friendly experience that engages everybody.

A nature trail based around our beautiful man-made wetland system. Learn about the importance of our wetland system and how it works, and about some of the local critters and the special roles they play in our natural environment.
