The cultural story of Woodhouse began with the Kaurna and Peramangk traditional custodians who have cared for and met on this corridor of shared country for millennia. We acknowledge their continuing connection to country, and pay respect to their Elders past, present and emerging. Woodhouse is also the meeting place of waterways which attracted colonial settlement and, since its purchase by Scouts SA in 1957, a meeting place for Scouts coming together for training, camping, events, service and friendship.
