No - Woodhouse is open to EVERYONE! Proudly owned by Scouts SA, we often refer to Woodhouse as being ‘the cellar door for Scouting’. Each of our facilitated programs offer you a little taste of the types of activities you would enjoy at Scouts… essentially being screen-free, making awesome new friends, getting outdoors and being active!
We will be there every step of the way to help learn some cool new skills, you do not need to have prior knowledge of the principals.
As above, you don’t need to be a Member… but it helps! Scouts pay a special member rate of $50 per day, general price is just $65. This price covers:
Our team have years of experience working with youth and are all armed with the following:
Groups are generally split in age groups 5-9 and 10-13 (some days there is a 3 age group split) to ensure the activities match abilities and everyone has a great time with an appropriate level of challenge.
We will keep the kids entertained rain, hail or shine! Every day is programmed with a wet weather contingency plan. We have several large indoor spaces at our disposal and will simply adapt the programs to stay indoors. Of course, a little water never hurt anyone so, where appropriate, we will continue outdoors as planned. If it is too wet, Challenge Hill will not be included in the activities for the day.
Once your space has been reserved, the payment is non-refundable. However, you are welcome to transfer the booking to another child for the same day.
If (for some bizarre reason) minimum numbers are not met, the day camp may be cancelled with a minimum of 48 hours notice given. A full refund will be provided in this instance.
Please note:
The children will be outside whenever possible, so please dress appropriately.
