Camping Adventure Pass

General camping booking buttonJust a short trip up the South Eastern freeway, Woodhouse provides a safe and convenient space for the experienced camper, or those just starting out.

Dotted across the picturesque 54 hectare property, Basecamps are positioned in prime camping locations to help make ‘roughing it’ that little more comfortable. Here you'll find toilets, hot showers, under cover dining, sinks and BBQ facilities, as well as shared campfire circles (outside of fire ban season).
A combination of adventurous activities that can’t be found together anywhere else in the world complete the Woodhouse experience, with access available to all guests staying on site – and to those just venturing in for the day.

OPEN TO GENERAL PUBLIC ON WEEKENDS, PUBLIC HOLIDAYS AND WEEKDAYS IN SA SCHOOL HOLIDAYS. Tents, camper trailers and vans all welcome - sites are unpowered.

If you're a regular, consider joining CLUB WOODHOUSE, our ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP PASS which includes UNLIMITED DAY ENTRY for UP TO FOUR PEOPLE for a WHOLE YEAR and a great deal on camping adventures!

As we are limiting the number of campers allowed on site at any one time to ensure plenty of space between tents, bookings are essential if you want to guarantee your spot. A non-refundable, full pre-payment is required.

A signed waiver is required for anyone entering the property. Print at home for express check in (one may be signed per family)

CHECK IN: Any time from 9am!

When you arrive, make a stop at the first building on the right to register all members in your party and grab your map and other information about your campsite and onsite activities.

CHECK OUT: Have a sleep in, put your feet up, relax or get adventurous on the activities. You don't need to be out until 5pm!

A signed waiver is required for anyone entering the property. Print at home for express check in (one may be signed per family)

That's cool - we can hire you one for an additional $50, with up to 4 mattresses provided... so all you need to worry about is your sleeping gear. We'll even pack up the tent for you when you're finished with it! The pricing is for your whole stay (up to 4 nights), not per night.

Click here to book your camping spot and note that you require tent hire in the booking comments (tent hire paid at check-in).

Outside of fire ban season (May-November), MOST DEFINITELY!

There are several large fire pits for shared use and some half-barrel drums if you're looking for something more private. Bags of wood, fire-starter packs and marshmallows are available for purchase from the office for your convenience.

The Fire Danger Season for the Mt Lofty Ranges generally falls over the period commencing in November and concluding in May of each year, during which time Woodhouse has a TOTAL FIRE BAN. These dates change each year, please check the CFS website for further information. Total Fire Ban days may fall outside the fire season and the fire response plan applies on these days.

We love our fur-babies too but for the safety and enjoyment of all our guests and wildlife, pets are not permitted.

You are going to an ACTIVITY centre - you are going to be ACTIVE!

Flip-flops are not at all suitable and access to activities may be denied for your safety. Please ensure everyone in your party understand this to avoid disappointment.

  • Strong enclosed footwear is ESSENTIAL!!
  • Think sun-smart clothing - long pants are a good idea and best suited to most activities
  • As jewellery around the neck, wrists and fingers have potential to get caught on some activities, we suggest leaving them at home or in a safe place
  • Slip, slop, slap
  • A full change of clothes (including shoes) is recommended for those likely to end up in Cox's Creek
  • Don't wear anything you'd be worried about getting dirty or damaged

BYO everything! With a little preparation, you can ensure you've got everything you need to have as much fun as possible - click here to view a suggested list of items to pack for your Woodhouse camping adventure.

There is no food or drink available for purchase on site, so come prepared. If you need to grab something, the beautiful townships of Crafers, Stirling and Uraidla are all less than 10 minutes away. Check out some great local eateries and other attractions while you're here!
