Woodhouse Adventure Park is a leader in experience-based group accommodation, school camps and outdoor learning, as well as youth and family activity.

 A Woodhouse Activity Facilitator works amongst this varied range of offerings in a vibrant team, supervising and leading activity programs, with a primary focus of keeping participants safe and engaged.    

  • Your office is 54 hectares of undulating countryside in the stunning Adelaide Hills.

While there is currently a greater need for staff available to work weekends (hosting birthday parties and running the Tube Slides) and in school holidays (day camp facilitation), weekday work may also be available to deliver school camp packages, day excursions and corporate team building activities. 


Job location:

The position will be predominantly based at Woodhouse Adventure Park, Spring Gully Road, Piccadilly, with opportunity arising to be part of the team at Roonka River Adventure Park in Blanchetown.

Roonka River Adventure Park, proudly owned and operated by Scouts SA since 1972, is a leader in experience-based group accommodation, school camps and outdoor learning, as well as youth and family activity.

As part of the Scouts SA Camps & Adventure Parks team, this casual role is based at Roonka River Adventure Park in the Riverland – just outside of Blanchetown – working Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

You will be responsible for the exemplary presentation of the site’s grounds, activities and buildings, coupled with the general upkeep of the site’s facilities and plant equipment.

A customer-focused outlook is key to the position’s success, delivering a beautifully presented site combined with a strong focus of WHS practices and principals making for the best experience for all who visit.

Examples of duties include pest control, lawn care, irrigation, rubbish removal, general building maintenance and some customer-facing guest services.

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Business Development Manager to join the Scouts SA Camps & Adventure team. This pivotal full-time permanent role is responsible for devising, developing, and implementing marketing projects and business development strategies across our diverse range of offerings. Your efforts will be crucial in ensuring our economic growth, strategic advancement, and operational success. The position is based at Woodhouse Adventure Park at Piccadilly in the Adelaide Hills.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive business development and marketing strategies to drive growth and increase market presence.
  • Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and revenue streams to expand our reach and impact.
  • Conduct market research to stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
  • Lead and manage marketing projects, including digital campaigns, events, media visits and promotional activities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment and successful implementation of business initiatives.
  • Prepare and present reports to senior management on progress, challenges, and opportunities.
