Accessible Activities 

• Tube Slide: Wheelchair-accessible pathway to the top of the slope. Support persons can assist at the slide platform.
• Disc Golf, Orienteering and Photo Hunts: Self-paced and flexible, with some flat, grassy terrain suitable for mobility devices.
• The Labyrinth: Accessible through external entry from top and bottom level and may be suitable for some wheelchair users subject to weather
• Walking Trails: Vary in gradient and surface. Some areas are suitable for guests using walking aids or accompanied by a support person.

Accessible Accommodation 

• Rymill Centre: Includes one wheelchair-accessible ensuite (Room 15), wide corridors, and direct access from parking area.
• Old Woodhouse Manor: All downstairs areas (including two bedrooms and an accessible bathroom) may be suitable for guests with limited mobility or using certain wheelchairs. Accessible bathroom and ramp access.
• Hooper Bunkhouse: Some accessibility features suitable for guests with limited mobility or using certain wheelchairs. There is ramp access to the main building, which provides access to the bathrooms and bunkrooms 4, 5 and 6

While we don’t yet have tactile or braille signage across the property, we support visitors who are blind or have low vision in the following ways:

• Assistance animals are welcome across the site.
• Staff can offer verbal orientation upon arrival, or be available to assist guests and their support persons on request.
• Clear virtual tours and written descriptions of buildings and activities help visitors plan ahead. 

Although we do not currently have hearing loops or Auslan-trained staff, we are happy to communicate with guests who are deaf or hard of hearing via:

• Email or SMS for pre-arrival communication
• Written versions of safety briefings and camp information
• Visual safety signage throughout the park
• Support persons are welcome in all programs and activities

We understand that sensory sensitivity and unexpected changes can affect your experience. To support neurodivergent guests:

• Our virtual tours allow guests to see and explore activities and accommodation ahead of time, reducing uncertainty.
• Activity leaders are trained to deliver clear, step-by-step instructions and to adjust delivery style as needed.
• Guests are welcome to take breaks in quiet, low-traffic areas of the site at any time.
• We are happy to help you plan your visit in advance, including quiet times and alternative program delivery where possible.

Accredited assistance animals are welcome throughout Woodhouse Adventure Park. Please ensure the animal is clearly identifiable (e.g. jacket, ID card). Water bowls and shaded rest areas are available.
