Scouts SA Camps & Adventure Parks is a leader in experience-based group accommodation, school camps and outdoor learning, as well as youth and family activity.

 Our Activity Facilitators work across this varied range of offerings in a vibrant team, supervising and leading activity programs, with a primary focus of keeping participants safe and engaged.    

  • Your 'office' is 54 hectares of undulating countryside in the stunning Adelaide Hills at Woodhouse and 24 acres of land and water-based adventures right on the mighty Murray at Roonka.
  • Your goal is to lead, inspire, nurture and engage clients of all ages.
  • Your team is a like-minded bunch of energetic outdoor enthusiasts.

Our Activity Facilitators are energetic and have a friendly and welcoming nature. They are keen multi-taskers and realise success through extraordinary customer service values, exceptional communication skills, an eager attitude to succeed and a strong passion for the property and products.

While there is currently a greater need for staff available to work weekends (hosting birthday parties and running the Tube Slides) and in school holidays (day camp facilitation), weekday work may also be available to deliver school camp packages, day excursions and corporate team building activities.

Activity Facilitators are predominantly based at Woodhouse Adventure Park, Spring Gully Road, Piccadilly, with increasing opportunity to be part of the team at Roonka River Adventure Park in Blanchetown.

The Maintenance and Service Officer will be responsible for the exemplary presentation of Woodhouse coupled with the general upkeep and upgrade of the site’s facilities and plant equipment.

The role will be focused on providing a safe and secure experience for all visitors through a high level of maintenance and grounds keeping expertise.

customer focused outlook is key to the position’s success, delivering a beautifully presented site combined with a strong focus of WHS practices and principals making for the best experience for all who visit Woodhouse.

What your day involves:

  • Ensuring all guest requirements and urgent works are met immediately, while attending to daily works list and preventative maintenance

  • Leading and constructing various activity/facility upgrade projects

  • Assessing and acting upon general maintenance and cleanliness of the site

  • Ensuring presentation of the site facilities and grounds meets the high expectations of the visitors and organisation, keeping visitor presentation and aesthetics in mind at all times

  • In-depth understanding of grounds and vegetation maintenance
