About Us

We do this by managing a diverse portfolio of businesses, which includes recycling in both South Australia and Queensland, retail, and adventure parks and campsites in the Adelaide Hills, Riverland and Eyre Peninsula regions.

About the role

The role is based at Woodhouse Adventure Park in the Adelaide Hills but will also remotely support sister sites, Roonka River Adventure Park in the Riverland and Camp Nyroca on the Eyre Peninsula. Generally, shifts are scheduled during standard business hours on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, with some flexibility in start and finish times to accommodate personal commitments. However, hours may vary based on seasonal demands, and occasional weekend work may be required.

As a Visitor Experience Officer you will: 

  • Deliver exceptional service to a diverse range of customers – from managing initial enquiries and bookings to welcoming and checking in guests at Woodhouse and addressing their needs on-site.
  • Act as a professional and friendly representative of Camps & Adventure Parks, engaging with both new and returning customers as the key ‘first point of contact’ via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
  • Perform general administrative duties and ensure the reception area remains stocked, clean, and presentable.
  • Handle payments for day visitors and campers, and manage sales of merchandise and supplies.
  • Provide feedback from guests/visitors to improve current offerings and support the development of new products and experiences.

About you

  • Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and manage competing priorities effectively.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Excellent organisational skills and time management abilities.
  • Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Demonstrate basic computer literacy and is comfortable using common software applications.
  • Comfortable working across various platforms and with multiple stakeholders simultaneously.

 

Essential:

  • National Police Clearance
  • DCSI Working with Children Check

Desirable:

  • First Aid
  • Current and unrestricted Drivers Licence
  • RAN Certificate (Responding to Abuse and Neglect)

 Our Activity Facilitators work across this varied range of offerings in a vibrant team, supervising and leading activity programs, with a primary focus of keeping participants safe and engaged.    

  • Your 'office' is 54 hectares of undulating countryside in the stunning Adelaide Hills at Woodhouse and 24 acres of land and water-based adventures right on the mighty Murray at Roonka.

Job location:

Activity Facilitators are predominantly based at Woodhouse Adventure Park in Piccadilly, with increasing shifts available at Roonka River Adventure Park in Blanchetown to fill growing school camp demand.
