No problem! If you want a camping experience but just don't have the gear we recommend our glamping option with bell tent hire! It's glamping Woodhouse style ... affordable and family-friendly. We'll put the tent up for you and throw in the camping essentials (table, chairs, mattresses, lantern and private BBQ).
Outside of bushfire danger season (May-November), MOST DEFINITELY!
There are several large fire pits for shared use and some half-barrel drums if you're looking for something more private. Bags of wood, fire-starter packs and marshmallows are available for purchase from the office for your convenience.
The Fire Danger Season for the Mt Lofty Ranges district generally commences mid-November or start of December, and concludes at the end of April, during which time Woodhouse has a TOTAL FIRE BAN. These dates change each year, please check the CFS website for further information. Total Fire Ban days may fall outside the fire season and the fire response plan applies on these days.
We love our fur-babies too but for the safety and enjoyment of all our guests and wildlife, pets are not permitted. Naturally guide dogs and accredited assistance dogs are welcome.
You are going to be ACTIVE in the great outdoors!
Flip-flops are not suitable and access to activities may be denied for your safety. Please ensure everyone in your party understands this to avoid disappointment.
