Say Hello to Djamilla (DJ) our very own Tetris Queen and mastermind behind fitting all our school camps perfectly into the schedule! With an impressive 10 years under her belt at Woodhouse Adventure Park, DJ works her magic as Education and Programs Manager, bringing energy and efficiency to every project.
Meet Maretta W, one of our energetic facilitators at Woodhouse Adventure Park! Though she’s been officially part of our team for a year, Maretta’s connection to Woodhouse runs deep—she’s been visiting as a Scout since she was six years old. Her love for the outdoors and the park makes her a perfect fit for the facilitator role.
Maretta is currently finishing high school and has a passion for all things outdoors. When she’s not at Woodhouse, you’ll find her enjoying Scout Camp with her group or exploring nature on weekends. When she finishes school she dreams of doing more travel.
If she could have any superpower, Maretta would choose teleportation—imagine how convenient that would be for her adventures!
We’re thrilled to have Maretta on our team; her enthusiasm and experience bring a special touch to Woodhouse!
Say hello to Jacob, one of our amazing facilitators here at Woodhouse Adventure Park! Jacob joined our team three years ago, inspired by a glowing recommendation from a friend who couldn’t stop raving about the place. Curious to see what all the hype was about, Jacob jumped in, and the rest, as they say, is history!
What Jacob loves most about his role is witnessing the joy and excitement on the faces of the kids he works with. Our facilitators are skilled in guiding children through all the various activities at Woodhouse, ensuring they stay safe and engaged. Jacob’s favorite activity? Disc Golf! He enjoys staying sharp and involved with this sport, adding a fun twist to his days at work.
Outside of Woodhouse, Jacob is juggling his studies and a passion for sports. He’s currently working towards becoming LIC Laser trained and harbors a dream of time-traveling back to the days when his cherished Adelaide Crows were at the top of their game—may we suggest 1997?
Jacob’s enthusiasm and dedication make him a vital part of our team, and we’re thrilled to have him bringing his energy and expertise to Woodhouse Adventure Park!

Say hello to Matt B, our dynamic Activities & Education Coordinator! With seven years of experience at both Woodhouse Adventure Park and sister site, Roonka River Adventure Park, Matt has become a beloved figure among both kids and staff. Matt isn’t just a familiar face around here; he’s also a dedicated Scout and a proud recipient of the Silver Wattle Award. His passion for the outdoors shines through in everything he does. Over the years, he’s cherished the opportunity to see how children of all ages and backgrounds immerse themselves in the diverse programs and activities Woodhouse has to offer. His personal favourite? Disc Golf—imagine golf, but with a frisbee! When Matt isn’t in uniform, you might catch him out running, diving into a gaming session, or crafting his next Dungeons & Dragons campaign. He dreams of traveling to New Zealand to explore all the iconic filming locations from The Lord of the Rings and, if given the chance, would choose the superpower to control electrical currents. Matt’s energy and passion make him an incredible part of our team, and we’re thrilled to have him at the heart of Woodhouse Adventure Park! |
