Are you someone who takes pride in a job well done - who notices the little things, works quietly in the background, and keeps everything ticking along just right?

At Woodhouse Adventure Park, we’re looking for a capable, practical, and self-motivated Maintenance & Services Officer to help keep our 54-hectare property safe, functional, and looking its best. From general repairs and infrastructure checks to mowing, pruning and getting things guest-ready, this is a hands-on, full-time role where no two days are quite the same.

  • Grounds upkeep - mowing, pruning, clearing debris and managing seasonal tasks
  • Setting up equipment and assisting with guest preparation (e.g. fire drums, BBQs, signage)
  • Performing routine checks (e.g. gas bottles, water systems, hazards)
  • Reporting issues and logging tasks using internal job tracking systems
  • Supporting volunteers and contractors when needed

What you’ll need

  • A good set of practical skills and a hands-on mindset
  • Experience in general maintenance, groundskeeping or similar work
  • The ability to work independently and manage your time well
  • Confidence using tools and small machinery
  • Physical fitness and comfort working outdoors in all weather
  • A current SA driver’s license and police clearance (or willingness to obtain)

Why you’ll love it here

  • Your “office” is 54 hectares of bushland and hills
  • Supportive, welcoming team that works hard and laughs often
  • Vehicle and phone provided for site use
  • Purpose-led not-for-profit that makes a real difference
  • Full-time hours, with some flexibility for the right person
  • Opportunities to work on projects and take ownership of the site’s presentation
