Spring is a pretty magical time and is definitely in our top four favourite seasons at Woodhouse!
The days are getting longer and warmer, with daylight savings starting early October. The plants and trees start to blossom and flower, with some new faces appearing as many of our furry residents have their babies.
While the higher temperatures during the day make the creek activities even more enticing, the cool (but usually dry) nights are perfect for camping and sitting around a campfire toasting marshmallows.
This spring join us for School Holidays UNPLUGGED for 'drop & go' fun in October, and our Spring-Fest Family Camping Party over the Labour Day long weekend!
Spring is prime time for all our quintessential Woodhouse experiences and is perfect for...
Sitting on 54 hectares of undulating gum-tree studded countryside, understandably, Woodhouse is home to all sorts of wonderful creatures. Venture around the property and don't forget to look up! You're sure to find a koala, maybe even with a joey in its pouch. Explore the Wetlands and Cox's Creek... what can you find in there? Can you spot the possums as the sun goes down - or the kangaroos as the sun rises?
What's so special about Spring? Counting how many animals with new born babies can you find!
Bring the family for a Day Adventure and climb, crawl, swing and splash your way through more than 30 obstacles on Woody's Challenge Hill, tackle a giant split-level maze, slide down two epic Tube Slides (slides open weekends only, even in the school holidays, though private group bookings can be pre-arranged at an additional fee), negotiate one of eight orienteering courses, conquer Cameron's Climb: the ultimate bouldering challenge, or have a round of Disc Golf (think golf with a frisbee). Enjoy the Wetlands Trail walk, cook up a storm on one of our free undercover gas BBQ’s or snuggle up around a campfire. Plus, our stunning 54-hectare property has plenty of trees to just sit under and read a book – or give a hug to, if you so desire.
